Domino’s Pizza Hits the Streets with Green Graffiti

97657-greengraffiti1In a fun, eco-stunt sort of way, Domino’s Pizza recently launched a word of mouth campaign in Los Angelas, Philadelphia and New York, where they used high-pressure washers and stencils to tag their logo into the grimy urban sidewalks.

Then they promoted that the first 250 people to hunt down the logos, take their picture and post them on Flickr, would receive a $15 gift card.

They worked with GreenGraffiti, who have been doing these campaigns around Europe. This was the eco advertising company’s first foray into the states.

Pretty great green word of mouth marketing campaign, and one that demonstrates just how creative an advertiser can get with sustainable marketing.
