Great entry.

This is off-topic, but what is your favorite soil conditioning fertilizer? I've tried Bio-Magic on my vegetable garden, but I don't know how happy I am with the results. Anyone have suggestions?

My wife is happy the eyesore of a halfpipe we built for our older son is being transformed into a chicken coop and composter (Although Ryan in our office has his doubts). We're going to start dismantling it this weekend and hope to have the next structures up in a week or two. I'm enlisting our youngest son (15-year-old) in the demolition and reconstruction. Should be fun AND interesting. That's how I taught our oldest boy how to use power tools. We'll keep you posted.

This is a great resource - Thanks!
Also, have you tried building a compost yet? If so, I'd be interested in reading about it (you mentioned the composter as "Next up" so will be an interesting read (once you get the chance to post about it).

Either way, I'm happy I came across this blog - Cheers!
