Park -

Thanks for the great post about Earth Cinema Circle! We are so glad you share our enthusiasm about the club. With regard to an option to download the movies - while we don't currently provide that as an option we are working on developing a digital download product. Although our current packaging is carbon neutral and made of 100% recycled content, we recognize the importance of moving towards a web-based product. So stay tuned!

I have not seen a download option. I know you can view some of these films on YouTube. I hear what you're saying about the "greenness" of DVDs, and yet this medium is still the best way to distribute and share movies, especially to the masses that don't download. I guess it's a balance of environmental message distribution with the resource cost of physical distribution.

Thanks for commenting.

Neat idea, but do they have an option to download the video instead? I'd much rather download than collect DVDs. Much greener option :)
