I like your guts: Our new organ donation app for Facebook

Nearly 7,000 Americans die every year for want of an organ donation. The big hearted Mark Zuckerberg set out to make a difference by launching a new organ donor program on Facebook May 1. Although his IPO has been un-liked by many, you’ve got to give him a thumbs up for organ donation.

However, we beat him by a couple of our hours as our “Share What’s Inside” Facebook app. for Donate Life Arizona went live that same day.

Both Facebook’s organ donor program and our “Share What’s Inside” essentially asks the same thing of both donors and recipients: What are you waiting for?

So go ahead and share your heart, liver and soul with someone you cherish. Become an organ donor. They’ll more than just like you in return.
