Ok, so since it’s already Christmas eve, you might consider these green gifts for your New Years resolution. These are some of the coolest green items going. castaway material out of landfills.
To date, the company’s site reports that its vendors have kept more than 100 tons of billboard vinyl, over 19 tons of rubber tire inner tubes and over 15,000 feet of bicycle inner tubes from being disposed of in our world’s landfills.
What I like about the Salvagist is the inventive use of materials that you wouldn’t normally associate with personal items. We purchased a couple of these for our fairly fashion-conscious daughter for Christmas, and it will be fun to see how they are received. I’ll fill you in later.
