Green marketers can learn from Sheraton's lead
As I checked into my room at the Sheraton Arlington in Texas, I was curious to find this door hanger. It asked me to “Make a Green Choice.” If I decline housekeeping for the day I’ll earn a $5 gift card for the hotel’s restaurants, or 500 SPG Starpoints.
This is the first I’ve seen of a hotelier actually paying its guests to help them conserve resources. I’m curious how much money they save every time they don’t have to send in the maid.
Smart move, Sheraton, to save green on several levels.
